long term Alaskans, we believe in supporting
our local
community, and giving in ways that
really benefit the Delta Junction area and its
residents. Delta Industrial and Delta Petro-Wash
routinely  sponsor programs such as the Delta
Skating Association's Kit-a-Kid program, the
local American Cancer Society's Relay for Life,
Friends of Agriculture and the activities they
provide around town, UAF Cooperative Extension
Service's Farm Forum, the Deltana Fair, local
chapters of Ducks Unlimited and NRA, and numerous
Delta Elementary and High school dinners and
events.
Each year, Delta Industrial also hosts the Civil
Construction Academy, coordinating with the Delta
Career Advancement Center and Partners for Progress
in Delta to provide heavy equipment training
for those desiring to enter the construction
industry in the area.
We are also
routine sponsors of state-wide programs such
as the Special Olympics, the Alaska Peace
Officers Association and the Wings of Alaska
search & rescue team.
